The Math & Writing Centre is pleased to announce that our online Conversation Circles are back and starting next week.

All students from IGS, Lakeshore and North are welcome!

We have both Online Conversation Circles for groups of up to five students and Online Conversation One-on-One sessions for students looking for personalized sessions.

Please share the attached poster with details about the sessions.

Please also let ESL students know that these services offer opportunities to practice listening and speaking skills and well as to build vocabulary and increase general fluency in the language. Our TESL-certified tutors run guided conversations that ensure students can both enjoy and benefit greatly from these sessions.

To join a Conversation Circle or to book a Conversation 1-on-1 session, students can go to our online booking system at https://humber.mywconline.com/ and select the schedule called “Online Workshops and Conversation Summer 2022.” 

If they need help to sign up, they can visit our Virtual Front Desk person.

Conversation Circles will run at these times:

Starting May 24/25: Tuesdays 11 a.m., Wednesdays 12 p.m. and 3 p.m.
Starting June 10: Fridays 12 p.m.

Conversation 1:1 sessions will run at these times:

Starting May 24/25: Tuesdays 11 a.m. and 3 p.m.
Starting June 10: Fridays 3 p.m.
