As part of Humber College’s commitment to Equity, Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging (EDIB), the Office of Research & Innovation (ORI) will be undertaking several projects to ensure that EDIB is intentionally and proactively considered in the identification, selection, recruitment, and integration of the applied research team and support an inclusive and accessible training environment for student researchers.
Currently, ORI is seeking Humber faculty or staff members with expertise in both research and EDIB best practices to develop content for a training module for EDIB practices in order to build the skills, competencies and awareness required to examine systemic inequalities during the applied research lifecycle and implement best practices to support EDIB in research teams.
