The International Development Institute's project partners from Kenya, Bhutan, Peru and Indonesia enrolled in Humber College's Global Summer School Program 2023.
Nine of IDI's international project partners had the opportunity to travel to Humber College on a month-long exchange for knowledge-sharing, promoting cultural understanding and diversity, and fostering global relationships.
The group attended classes daily to enhance and develop their knowledge, skills and capacity in hands-on learning opportunities in the classroom. The group of nine also continued their educational journey at Humber outside of the classroom by fostering relationships with one another and learning and appreciating diverse cultures and differing perspectives.
The Global Summer School was a fantastic opportunity for IDI's international partners to meet each other and share their knowledge, expertise and overall learning experiences. The program contributed to the development of individuals, organizations, and societies while fostering global cooperation and addressing pressing global challenges.
