Flags at Half-Mast on September 29

It is with heavy hearts that we inform you of the passing of Elsy Valengah Nwana, an international student in the first semester of the Hospitality – Hotel & Restaurant Operations Management diploma program in the Longo Faculty of Business.

As a community, we are deeply saddened by this loss and our thoughts and condolences go out to her family and loved ones during this difficult time.

To honour Elsy and her memory, on Friday, September 29, we will be lowering the flags at the college to half-mast. This gesture serves as a symbol of our respect and admiration for Elsy as she made a positive impact with those she encountered during her time with us.

Elsy’s family would like the Humber community to know that she loved to swim, dance, cook and especially loved to read. She is survived by her parents Cletus Nwana and Glory Mantan, and her two-year-old daughter Ndi Elinora Mbonie.
