First Phase of DXP-Enabled Website Scheduled for Launch Next Week

Next week, Humber will introduce the new international webpages (www.humber.ca/international), as we complete the first phase of the transition to a new Digital Experience Platform (DXP) that will transform our website and the user experience on it.

In this first phase, Humber International webpages will have a different look and feel, streamlined navigation and enhanced digital experience. The new international pages are designed for a wide audience from international learners who might be considering studying abroad, to those graduating and looking for information about post-graduate work permits and more.

International.humber.ca will now be humber.ca/international

The new webpages provide an improved user experience on desktop or mobile with an “easier to find” URL of humber.ca/international. The move to this new URL will help improve search engine optimization and enable us to more easily track users’ interactions with digital ads and with our webpages. There will be redirects in place from the old domain to the new to ensure that users do not experience any disruption.

Streamlined Content

The redesigned webpages will support enrolment goals by contributing to an enhanced experience for prospects. Once live, visitors to the International site will still be able to access current Humber webpages, which will retain their same design and function for the time being.

Future migrated sites will employ the same address strategy, significantly enhancing the visibility and prominence of the humber.ca domain.
The new international webpages will be the model for other future Humber sites. After this launch, additional webpages will be updated in the months ahead with the rest of the websites being prioritized to be migrated to DXP and the new design.

DXP is Humber’s investment in a new web platform that will support a radically enhanced online experience for all websites within the humber.ca domain. Learn more in the Communiqué post “What is DXP?”

This first phase of the DXP-enabled humber.ca website is part of the Digital Student Experience (DSX) Program that emerged from the 2023-2026 Digital Campus and Academic Plans and focuses on enhancing the digital student experience.
