Bernard Mafei, Humber's senior esports administrator, has been appointed to the board of directors of Esport Canada as chair of post-secondary for the organization.

Esport Canada is the national governing body for esports in Canada, dedicated to fostering the growth and development of competitive gaming across the country. Bernard brings decades of experience, including his background as a former professional fighting game competitor ranked No. 1 in Canada.

As head of Humber Esports, Bernard has established Humber as a leader in collegiate esports. His new position with Esport Canada will bring valuable insights to the institution and impact the Canadian esports landscape.
