Theme

Since 1992, the United Nations International Day of Persons with Disabilities (IDPD) has been celebrated annually on December 3 around the world. The theme for this year’s International Day is “Achieving 17 Goals for the Future We Want”. This theme notes the recent adoption of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the role of these goals in building a more inclusive and equitable world for persons with disabilities.*

Humber College

Humber College is committed to maintaining a diverse and inclusive community, representing a broad range of talents and experiences. Persons with disabilities actively participate throughout Humber, and they are essential members of the Humber community.

Through the Accessibility for Persons with Disabilities Act (AODA) in Ontario, Humber College is continuously working towards promoting full accessibility and inclusion for all members of the Humber community.
