Continuing Education with School of HRT Welcomes ALiGN Students

Continuing Education with the School of Hospitality, Recreation & Tourism is pleased to congratulate the first round of students in the ALiGN program for completing their two-day workshop. The ALiGN program is designed to assist unemployed youth between the ages of 18-29 years find entry-level positions in the industry. 

Day one was focused on restaurant services and housekeeping, while day two was focused on making a three-course meal for preparation to become a line cook. Community Employment Service sites from Albion, Kipling and Jane support the project. Humber College will eventually work with agencies in order to find the participants employment. 

A second session of ALiGN will begin on August 9, 2017.
