It's with mixed emotions that I share news of Gail Thornton's upcoming departure from Humber, for Durham College, effective August 24th. As so many of you know, Gail has been a valued and important member of Program Planning, Development and Renewal. In her 10 years at Humber, Gail has developed many new programs including several degrees. She has worked closely with faculty, administrators and industry partners to develop curriculum, map outcomes and meet Ministry requirements. Gail has also represented Humber on many provincial college committees. While we will miss her, we also send her our very best wishes for her exciting new role as Associate Dean, Teaching, Learning and Program Quality at Durham. Please join me in congratulating Gail on her new position.
