The Department of Public Safety is pleased to welcome Kathy Branton to the team as the Manager, Business Continuity and Emergency Planning. Kathy has spent the past 30 years involved in the Emergency Management field, with the last 10 years spent leading the Emergency Management program at York University. Kathy will be taking the lead on our new institutional Business Continuity Planning initiative as well as providing her subject matter expertise to enhance our existing Emergency Management Program. Kathy will report to the Director, Public Safety and Emergency Management and will be located in NX101L and can be reached at extension 5550 or by email at Kathy.Branton@humber.ca

The Department of Public Safety is pleased to welcome Adnan Salam to the team as Public Safety Coordinator at the north campus. Adnan will join David Yen in providing day to day operational support and oversight for all guarding operations, investigations, incident and emergency management as well as other administrative tasks on a rotational basis. Adnan has spent several years at Sheridan College, where he worked both as a Security Guard Site Supervisor and Parking Supervisor.  Adnan is committed to student success and creating a safe, secure and welcoming environment and will be a great asset to the team. Adnan will report to Nancy Deason, Manager Public Safety, and will be located in NX101B and can be reached at extension 4932 or by email at Adnan.Salam@humber.ca
