Internationalization Strategy 2.0 - Community Consultations This Week

We need your thoughts and opinions!

Humber International is working with the college-wide Internationalization Committee to craft our second, five-year Internationalization Strategy. The first strategy (2013-2018) was accomplished with many milestones met and goals surpassed. As we prepare to write the new strategy, we’d like to hear from members of the Humber community as to the direction and focus this new strategy should take.

Community consultations are underway this week. They are being led by a colleague from the Queens Executive Decision Centre, Smith School of Business at Queen’s University.

There are virtual consultation sessions happening this week. This means that to participate, you need three things:

  1. An hour of your time
  2. A way to connect to the Internet (for video portion of the consultation)
  3. A telephone (to connect to the audio portion of the consultation)

This type of consultation is ideal for the size of a community like Humber’s – anyone who can commit an hour of time in one of the slots available can participate, regardless of where they are on campus (or even, where they are in the city, or in the world).

There are still spots available for the consultation sessions this week. They will be held on the following dates:

Tuesday, March 27th

Wednesday, March 28th

Thursday, March 29th

Session 4:  10:00 a.m.

Session 7:  9:00 a.m.
