Digital Art Digitally Generated Art 12.5 x 10 Original Piece I'm a digital artist who has done multiple works that focus around fantasy and nature. For this particular piece I was inspired buy a book I was reading at the time which made a beautiful contrast between the strength and vulnerability of a warrior. One quote in particular having really gotten my creative juices flowing

"Being a warrior means everything to me but I don't let it define me. When I go to work, I'm who I need to be. The rest of the time I'm just myself."

I painted Jules in the halloween episode as the character Ophelia from Shakespeare’s play hamlet because i thought it was fitting with how they’re both driven to self-sabotage from love. In the episode, Jules drowns herself in alcohol as well as jumps into a pool because of her worries about Nate, who she used to love, blackmailing her as well as Rue’s wellbeing. 2022 Andrea Vania Fashion Arts and Business North Campus Word of Mouth 07-03-2022

Living in a world where there are many people who are just as unique and important as each other, Fly Along was created with the focus to capture that fact. Although everyone is different, it is not impossible to find a way to help others walk forward together. 2022 Jessica Senephimmachack Visual and Digital Arts Lakeshore Campus Faculty/Staff, Email 07-03-2022

As I was looking around my house for interesting things to take pictures of, I decided to try taking a picture of something simple and make it look nice instead. So that is what I did with this pair of glasses. I played around with different composition techniques to find one that looked interesting while trying to capture the photo. This was the best photo I think out of my collection of shadow based photography. 2021 Rabee Ashfaq Bachelor of Creative Advertising Lakeshore Campus Email 07-03-2022

While looking for some anime characters' pictures to reproduce I came across this and felt motivated to try my hand at this. The mask intrigued me. The mask makes the character look like someone weird or someone smart who was asked to smile and got this as a response. I was curious to know the character. It is similar to how we perceive people or how they portray themselves. We all were forced to wear face masks during the pandemic without realizing that we have been wearing one even before the pandemic and we will continue to wear one. Also, I changed the eye color of the character just to highlight the eyes as I feel that they are often missed when we try to "read" a person but I believe that the eyes are the biggest traitor for a person. Someone might think that they were able to mask things well but the eyes can give them away.

I wanted to give him something special, so I created this painting. On this painting, I used decoupage art; the bottom left part is decoupage paper, and I also used stencil art to create a honeycomb effect because my friend enjoys black coffee with a bit of honey.
The quote I used is his favorite coffee quote, and he refers to it frequently.
So that's the story behind this painting. Hope you like it!

I have done a form of art called junk journalling, that essentially uses different papers, textures, stickers and the like to create something interesting. Mixing my love for that with my love for painting, seemed like the perfect thing to do and so, came this piece. When I first brought the canvas out to start, I had nothing in mind. I started putting down paint on the canvas for a base and put down whatever I thought would look nice and I am proud of how it turned out, especially considering this was my first time doing something like this. 2021 Rabee Ashfaq Bachelor of Creative Advertising Lakeshore Campus Email 07-03-2022

Every breath counts, every wind touches the soul, every sunset reminds us of how every atom that makes up our complexity is just another speck of dust in this universe. When I submerge myself in the water and dissolve all my issues in the ground where we came from, and where we will eventually go back, it reminds me to accept the existence as it is. The idea seems a bit simple, but to do it might require you to just let the sun kiss your skin and give you the warmth you've been looking for, and to acknowledge that the water and sand still hold you while the waves sing a song, and you- you just exist. It needs you to let go of your counterproductive emotions, the ones that demand your personal judgement to accept something as good or bad, whereas what matters is the mere dissolving in the facts of existence. A solo act but an act of collective conscience has taken place, where your eyes and perseption do not matter because you breathe into the gifts of nature, accept the light of the sun, the love of the waves, and just dissolve, it is all of your colours that can be seen in this performance of nature. 2022 Saloni Bhugra Bachelor of Journalism Lakeshore Campus Email 07-03-2022

Fascinated by the precision and patience that would have gone behind the creation of this piece, I set out on the mission to recreate one using my own hands. And after numerous hours and moments of self-doubt, I ended up with this decent reproduction of the original art created by Mr. Rehman.

It is just so hypnotic in some sense. For me, it resembles the eye of a woman who has now become frail and old, but her eyes are still young and gorgeous. That's the thing with eyes right: they never grow old; only more beautiful.

This is what I want to experience once in my life- me with my lover in a field full of waving grass and sparkling fireflies under a sky full of thousands of stars and the moon shining in all its glory for me to see everything that is there. To be connected with nature and be in the moment like it has been specially created for me. To not think of all the worries in my life and just be there. Listening to the sound of wind and taking it all in without the disturbance caused by the noise of the city. This was the aspiration of a person who was stuck in an apartment building due to the pandemic and couldn't go out, couldn't meet her lover or friends, and lost someone dear. With all the time I gained during the pandemic, I started practicing digital art and this was one of my first few creations. 2021 Gauri Dev Business Insights and Analytics IGS- International Graduate School Email 07-03-2022
