249 Thu, 03/10/2022 - 22:12 Anonymous 142.214.240.6 Exposed Other Other 9" x 9" x 13" Original Piece Exposed is a sculpture of an anatomically correct human heart built from white egg shells, adhesive and wire. This work was created to portray the symptom of extreme sensitivity in borderline personality disorder. Every feeling, every thought is to the extreme. It is black or it is white, there is no in between. Relationships between family, friends or spouses, with a person diagnosed with BPD have been commonly described as “walking on eggshells”. Childhood trauma is one of the root causes of Borderline Personality Disorder, which is referenced in this piece by the nest. The application of broken white eggshells insinuates broken innocence, a loss of purity and perfection. Rebuilt but left vulnerable and fragile, never again whole.

Accessibility:

A life size replica of an anatomically correct human heart fabricated from white eggshells adhered to a wire frame. Displayed in a glass and wood dome cloche; seated on a brown bird's nest consisting of branches, grasses and feathers.

I feel all they are looking for is more power. They use media to manipulate people, religious not to guide people but to just brainwash them, money and war to get more power and for sure they do not care about justice. One they, I was very upset and angry at situation some people have in this world and this idea came to my mind. to me the world is under control of few people who have money and power. They are the ones who run the world and we live the way they want. They do not care about anyone. We are in 2022 and we should be only worried about Covid-19, but we are all observing again another stupid war that ruins innocent people's life. I wanted to make something colorful and use all the colors I have on this type of paper. The idea started from a simple sketch during my break at work. Each of this little networks share their colors with the one is connected to. They give their colors to their neighbor and receive theirs. I was at a convenience store and got supremely excited to encounter this product and instantly got it. Toronto had experienced an intense blizzard situation so there was snow everywhere around my house... as I arrived I though to myself how cold is it here that I don't even have to keep the Pepsi in the fridge I can just leave it outside unlike in my home country(India) and so I thought to myself "This is the Canadian Way of things" and I kept the can in snow and it looked beautiful so I captured This moment in Time. It felt like there was a fight going on between the wind and the candle flame, this was something I could connect to human lives as many of us have this fire inside of us that burns in the relentless pursuit of growth, new experiences and finding more meaning in our everyday life.

When I saw this place on Google Maps, I made my decision. Golden Hour. -8C Me and my phone will be their.
But when I reached their I was taken aback the sheer amount of beauty. People say winters in Canada is harsh, I agree but Mother Nature, its beautiful. This picture is out of the 170 clicks I made in that 1 hour while standing in snow.
