Humber debuts three new Bachelor of Engineering degrees 

The first cohort of students in Humber College's new Bachelor of Engineering programs will start classes in September 2021, and not a moment too soon. As the industry grows, changes and adapts to Canadian society, more engineers are needed to build and maintain the infrastructure and technology we depend on. 

Humber Industrial Design student praised for his take on "Canada’s car” 

When Stephen Bykowy was challenged to design an all-Canadian, zero-emissions vehicle to showcase the auto industry, he reflected on Canadian identity and values.

Humber helps project management grads get noticed 

As a project coordinator for the Office of Applied Research & Innovation (ARI) at Humber College, Camila Perez-Pena already knew that Project Management post-graduate certificate students had a good educational foundation.

She is, after all, a Humber graduate whose experience and expertise landed her a job less than six months out of school.

Humber and Sault College team up to increase access and meet industry demands

Humber College’s new Bachelor of Engineering – Mechatronics is designed to prepare students for careers in advanced manufacturing, food, pharmaceutical, energy and healthcare. 

According to the Government of Canada Job Bank, there are currently more than 85,000 mechatronics engineering-related job in Ontario – and a shortage of engineering graduates.

Industrial Design Student Wins at BRP International Design Competition

Third-year Bachelor of Industrial Design student Bradley Staite was recently announced as the winner of the 2019 Bombardier Recreational Products’ (BRP) International Design Competition. Humber was one of six participating design institutions across North America and Europe, and five Humber students were shortlisted to the top 20.
