Humber hosts first college-wide Scholarship Celebration

On April 12, 2023, Humber students, faculty and staff gathered for an exciting evening of celebration to applaud student achievement and give a nod to the motivating spirit behind student success – Humber’s dedicated community of donors.

“Behind each student scholarship recipient is a generous donor who recognizes the unlimited potential of Humber students, and who is changing lives by investing in this potential,” said Dr. Ann Marie Vaughan, President and CEO, Humber. “To our donors, your impact does not go unnoticed, and we could not be more grateful for your support.”

This year, the Scholarship Celebration was launched in a new format, bringing together all of Humber’s faculties and departments to celebrate alongside student scholarship recipients and their donors.

In what is planned to be an annual event moving forward, the celebration brought together 177 student scholarship recipients, 127 donors and guests as well as 61 staff and faculty.

The evening included the option of a fun photo booth experience among peers and congratulatory video messages from Humber’s alumni and Humber’s deans and student and department leaders.
