WAWANESA DONATES ANOTHER $20,000 TO THE INSURANCE MANAGEMENT PROGRAM

After recently donating a gift of over $30,000 to the Humber Insurance Management Program, Wawanesa Insurance donated another $20,000 gift to support the program's growth.

The gift will be used to support students through scholarships by recognizing academic excellence, and used to attract top talent into the IMPG program and the insurance industry.

This gift will also provide students with access to critical needs-based bursaries. Wawanesa has demonstrated tremendous leadership as a company committed to education and to advancing the insurance industry by developing the next wave of insurance professionals.

Wawanesa Insurance is one of the largest insurance companies in Canada, with assets of over $9 billion, and employing a workforce of over 4,000 people. The company is also one of the oldest companies in Canada, as it was founded in 1896 in Wawanesa, Manitoba.

Wawanesa Insurance also recently celebrated their 123rd birthday this year!

Humber College thanks Wawanesa Insurance for their generous gift and for their commitment to our students.
