Completing the Application

Complete a General Application

  • Scholarships are administered by the Advancement and Alumni Office
  • To qualify for scholarships, students are asked to submit a general application each semester.
    • Scholarship open and close dates will be posted on our Student Awards website and on TV screens at Humber campuses each semester
  • Please read all instructions in order to fill out the form correctly. Any fields on the general application which are mandatory fields will be marked with an asterisk
  • You will see an area at the bottom left labeled Applicant Record: it is important that you ensure that your personal information (name, address, program, etc.) is accurate in your student record in MyHumber, as this information is automatically uploaded from your student record
    • If you need to update your student record, please contact the Registrar’s Office, as changes to your student record cannot be made through the scholarship portal

To qualify for scholarships with a financial need component, students must fill out a Budget Calculator for the Winter term.

  • If you have completed a Budget Calculator on the Student Awards and Financial Aid tab on your MyHumber account for the Winter term, please proceed to question #6 and complete your general application.
  • If you have not completed a Budget Calculator on the Student Awards and Financial Aid tab on your MyHumber account for the Winter term, please proceed to MyHumber to complete the budget calculator.
  • Need to unlock your Budget Calculator? Please contact the Financial Aid Office by calling 416-675-3111 (select option 4 to speak with a financial aid advisor) or emailing finaid@humber.ca.

Once you have completed the budget calculator, please return to your general application, complete the remaining questions, and hit submit.

Please follow the step-by-step guide below to locate the budget calculator.

  1. Login to MyHumber
  2. Click 'Student Awards and Financial Aid'
  3. Click 'Apply for Financial Aid'
  4. Select your current Aid Year (e.g., Academic Year 2023-2024)
  5. Select your current Aid Period (Winter Term/Summer Term/Fall Term)
  6. Select College-wide Scholarship Need Analysis
  7. Click 'Continue'
  8. Proceed to the Budget Calculator

When you have completed all required information in the general application, click Finish and Submit. You will receive a notification located at the top of the page, in a green banner that indicates ”Your general application has been successfully submitted.”
