
Merve Erdil, originally from Turkey, studied Hospitality Management at the University of Central Florida in Orlando, Florida. During the summer of her freshman year, she was selected for an internship in Okinawa, Japan. Upon her return, she connected with the Four Seasons brand, starting as an on-call hostess and quickly progressing to the role of Learning Coach within three months.
Expressing her desire to join the "Manager in Training" program, her leadership team recognized her ambition, offering her a Manager In Training (MIT) role at one of their Hawaii properties. Working across various departments as a MIT, she eventually earned a promotion to Assistant Manager in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. During the pandemic, amidst widespread layoffs, she remained one of the few managers retained to oversee operations during a three-month nationwide lockdown.
Following her tenure in Dubai, she relocated to Canada to pursue her marketing goals, enrolling in Humber Polytechnic's Marketing Management program.While studying, she reconnected with Four Seasons, working part-time at the Toronto hotel. Subsequently, she secured a Co-Op position through IPG Brands, Media Experts Residency Program, eventually receiving a full-time offer.
Graduating early, she transitioned into her new role and, three months later, received an offer from the Four Seasons Head Office in Toronto for their Brand Marketing position. Currently, she focuses on Brand Equity reporting, supports brand campaigns from a strategic marketing perspective, and leads the Global Collateral Project aimed at impacting the brand's 127-property Hotel & Resort portfolio.
