Duy Le is a dedicated student at Humber Polytechnic, currently pursuing a graduate certificate in Business Insight and Analytics. With a Bachelor’s Degree in Informatics from the University at Albany in New York, Duy has cultivated a strong foundation in data analysis and technical skills, particularly in SQL during his internship as a Data Analyst at PILOT Inc. Working closely under a project supervisor, Duy polished his professional etiquette and problem-solving abilities, adapting to project timelines and collaborating on capstone projects, which allowed him to further develop his teamwork and communication skills.
Driven by a natural curiosity, Duy believes that impactful solutions begin with the right questions that lead to better insights and clearer outcomes. This mindset steered him towards data analytics, where his analytical approach continues to evolve. Although his love for analysis occasionally presented challenges in communication, his time at the start-up and capstone projects improved his ability to navigate complex situations and collaborate effectively with others.
Beyond academics, Duy values being part of a community and enjoys volunteering, particularly for music-related events, to connect with others and contribute to a greater cause. Humber’s Downtown Campus has offered him valuable opportunities to engage with insightful advisors, supportive alumni, and industry professionals, which has enriched his personal and professional growth.
