Humber Polytechnic is proud to offer Master of Engineering in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering and Master of Computer Science - Cybersecurity Operations and Management. Both programs are accepting applications now. These Masters continue Humber’s evolution and reaffirms our commitment to solving some of Canada’s most pressing challenges through applied, industry-driven education.

Humber's is among the first Ontario Polytechnics offering master’s degrees under the province’s new pathway, as we work towards redefining post-secondary education in Canada and beyond.

Introducing the Master of Engineering in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering

Our Master of Engineering in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering was developed with leading employers and is built entirely around real-world collaboration, applied learning and industry impact. Housed in Humber’s Barrett Centre for Technology Innovation, the program equips learners with the practical tools and experience to tackle the real-world problems manufacturers are facing right now. Program highlights include:

  • First cohort starts Fall 2026
  • Two-year, six-semester program
  • Courses include advanced robotics, IoT, smart manufacturing and engineering leadership
  • Final term features a real-world Applied Research Industry Project
  • Delivered in partnership with members of the Advanced Manufacturing Skills Consortium

Introducing the Master of Computer Science - Cybersecurity Operations and Management

Humber’s new Master of Computer Science – Cybersecurity Operations and Management is Ontario’s first applied master’s degree in this dynamic field. Designed in collaboration with industry leaders, the program blends advanced technical training with strategic leadership development. With a strong focus on real-world application, students engage in research and projects that address today’s most pressing cybersecurity challenges. From cloud security to post-quantum cryptography, the curriculum prepares graduates to lead and innovate in an ever-evolving digital landscape. Program highlights include:

  • Ontario’s first applied master’s in cybersecurity
  • Industry-driven curriculum blending tech and strategy
  • Hands-on training at Barrett CTI cyber labs
  • 300+ hour real-world capstone project
  • Prepares for roles from analyst to CISO
