We all strive for an equitable, inclusive, and diverse workplace. As Humber grows and expands its horizons, we are mindful of the asset that is our greatest strength: our people. The foundation of every great endeavour lies in the steady growth of a team that collaborates, shares values and shares the same vision.
Piyusha Lokre is a Project Assistant at Humber Applied Research & Innovation. She has recently acquired the Tableau Desktop Specialist Certification. Congratulations Piyusha!
Tableau is one of the fastest-growing interactive data-visualization softwares. It is used for data science and business intelligence, transforming the way data is used to solve problems and showcase insights.
Piyusha is an integral part of Humber Applied Research & Innovation’s aspiring future. This is what she had to say:
“I was introduced to Tableau by Barath Roy Michel last year at a Tableau workshop at ARI. I was instantly impressed by its remarkable visualization capabilities and started digging deeper. Because of an increase in data generation, especially in the year 2020, every big to small company now uses a data visualization tool, and that makes learning Tableau even more necessary. Any beginner with basic excel knowledge can attempt the Tableau Desktop Specialist Certification Exam and clear it. The skills are completely transferable to any other BI tool. There are numerous roles in Business Intelligence and Data Analysis that one can choose from, and the exam opens the path for any beginner. I would highly recommend this exam.”
