Humber Wins Consultancy in Ethiopia

Humber College is pleased to announce it has been selected to support the national Technical Vocational Education and Training (TVET) system in Ethiopia. The initiative, led by Asha Gervan, Manager of the International Development Institute and delivered by faculty from The Business School, including Jim Skinner, will equip 50 entrepreneurship instructors in Ethiopia with the tools and skills to design and deliver effective curriculum in entrepreneurship.

Call for Submissions: Global Citizen Digest

The Global Citizen Digest magazine is looking for employee and student submissions for our upcoming issue: Is global citizenship for everyone? Here are some points to consider:
  1. Who can be a global citizen and how is global citizenship assigned?
  2. What are the defining features of a global citizen?
  3. Is a global citizen different from a local citizen or national citizen?
  4. How social locations such as race, religion, wealth, gender, etc. impact one’s "right" to citizenship.

Notice of External Film Shoot

New Workshop: The Internet of Things

Humber College Continuing Education is now offering The Internet of Things: an Introduction. This workshop will be held on Wednesday evenings from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., starting May 17th and ending May 31st. The Internet of Things explores the exciting world of interconnection as more and more everyday objects become capable of transmitting data.
