Final Exam Period in Testing Services

The final exam period is upon us, and as a result, Testing Services will be operating at maximum capacity over the next few weeks. The Lakeshore Campus Testing Centre will be extremely busy the week of April 17-21.  We will see upwards of 150 students per day in the Lakeshore Test Centre.   The North Campus Testing Centre will be extremely busy the weeks of April 17-21 and 24-28. We see upwards of 500 students per day at the North Test Centre.

Canada Savings Bonds-Payroll Savings Program to End November 2017

The Government of Canada announced it will discontinue the sale of Canada Savings Bonds (CSBs) purchased through the Payroll Savings Program as of November 2017. What this means if you are currently enrolled in the Program:
  • Your CSB contributions will continue to be deducted from your pay and go towards your CSB Payroll Savings Plan until the October 27, 2017 pay. After this date, contributions will end.

New Website for Students Graduating from Humber

Students graduating from Humber face unique challenges, from securing employment, to staying in touch with classmates and Humber, to finding new accommodations, or continuing their education. Inclusive Design for Digital Media

Get hands-on training in AODA compliance with this brand new Inclusive Design for Digital Media mini-certificate. This certificate will introduce students to inclusive design in digital media that complies with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA). The curriculum focuses on how to write, design and format captions for video, write audio descriptions and alternative text for e-readers, and remediate and format accessible Word and PDF documents.
