Payroll Update: Canada Pension Plan (CPP) Contributions and Employment Insurance (EI) Premiums for 2017

In 2017, the contribution rate for CPP will remain at 4.95% of pensionable earnings, to a maximum annual contribution of $2564.10. The EI premium rate for 2017 has decreased to 1.63% of insurable earnings, to a maximum annual premium of $836.19. If you reached the maximum for either payroll deduction in 2016, please note that the deductions will begin again with the first pay in 2017. Harley Valentine - Dream Ballet Sculptures Unveiled Downtown Toronto

Humber Galleries is proud to announce that Harley Valentine, one of Humber’s Art Collection artists, has just unveiled his public sculpture "Dream Ballet".  This public artwork can be seen at the southeast corner of Yonge and Front Sts. As well you can see his sculpture, Persephone, on campus at the entrance to the L Commons building, Lakeshore campus. The Centre for Teaching & Learning Presents its 2015-16 Annual Report

Eileen De Courcy, Humber's Associate Vice President, Teaching and Learning, is very proud to present the 2015-16 Annual Report for the Centre for Teaching & Learning, which can now be read online here. The report clearly demonstrates how the CTL supports Humber's Academic Schools and its faculty in the pursuit of our collective mission of establishing Humber as a "Leader in Polytechnic Education." 

Exhibition at Humber Art Commons: Content Context

All members of the Humber community are invited to attend the launch of Content Context, a contemporary art exhibition and pop-up artist library by the Visual Literacy students in Art Foundation. Working under the guidance of faculty member Vivian Ducas, student-artists have engaged a broad range of media that explores notions inherent to visual literacy, and communicates the unique concerns of emerging artists living in a rapidly changing world.
