96.9 Radio Humber Celebrates 45 Years of Excellence in Canadian Radio

2017 marks 45 years of the Radio Humber Broadcasting Program at Toronto’s Humber College of Applied Arts and Technology. To commemorate the occasion, we will be inducting three respected and accomplished alumni from the Radio Humber program on March 24, 2017 at Humber College’s North Campus.

Closing Reception - Spina Bifida: Front to Back by Steve Kean

An exhibit of portraits of people living with spina bifida. “Front to Back” has been a true collaboration between Kean and those he photographs. It is a path to a sense of dignity and control over what happens to those with spina bifida. Audiences for the images in this project will see the people first. People whose lives have meaning and are beautiful.

You Should Know... Key Human Rights and Equity Terms

Humber Diversity Committee (the Committee) recognizes that human rights and equity vocabulary is constantly evolving. Committee members identified that there needed to be consistency, shared understanding and definitions of the key terms frequently used in human rights, equity work and education at Humber. Language is constantly evolving, as a result, this a living document and the definitions herein will be reviewed, every two (2) years to ensure they reflect the most recent work in this area. Placement Abroad: Tanzania

In partnership with Cross-Cultural Solutions, Dr. Rai Reece will be leading a group of students to Tanzania this May. The group will spend three weeks in Tanzania immersed in the local culture and have the opportunity to complete field placement hours or service-learning. Students from across the College are welcome and encouraged to apply!

CTL and International: Connect Program

JOIN THE CONNECT PROGRAM AND MAKE A DIFFERENCE The International Student and Staff/Faculty/Admin Connect Mentoring Program is designed to enhance the experience of new international students at Humber College ITAL. We hope that this will be accomplished by creating an opportunity for faculty, staff, admin and Humber students to be part of a “Welcome Team” that will engage with new international students through informal, personalized and friendly social interactions WHY?
