Scholars & Co. - September 2018

Welcome back! We hope that you had a happy and relaxing summer. We're very happy to share with you the September edition of Scholars & Co., highlighting a number of research and scholarship initiatives happening within the CTL this month. Of particular note is the call for applications for the Teaching Innovation Fund. The fund is a comprehensive support package for faculty interested in conducting research on a teaching and learning question. To get a sense of the types of projects that faculty conduct, you might check out the list of current projects on page 2 of the newsletter, or hear faculty describe their projects here. The deadline for applications is Friday, September 14.

We would also like to draw your attention to Cutting Edge 3.0! This initiative is a chance to try out new educational technology with training and in-class support from the CTL, and then be a part of a research project looking at the impact of that technology with your students. This semester’s theme is “Interactive Videos: What do your videos do for you?”. If you are interested in learning more, please drop in to one of our information sessions:

Tuesday, September 11 11 a.m. - 12 p.m. North Campus, D225I

We look forward to working with you!
