It is with mixed emotions that I announce the retirement of Cheryl Evans – our very own Promotion, Events & Communications Officer – on December 31, 2017. Since joining the Humber community 32 years ago, Cheryl has been an integral part of the SSCS family and has inspired us with her outreach efforts and relentless passion for our school.  In addition, Cheryl has consistently displayed an immense commitment towards student success. Her unconditional dedication in seeking external opportunities for Humber students is inspirational, and one that invokes immense pride in her colleagues.

I would like to invite you to a drop-in lunch in honour of Cheryl’s retirement, to celebrate her wonderful years with the School. Please come by L1017 (L Building) on December 20th, between 12:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. and stay to celebrate the winter holiday with your colleagues and friends from SSCS.

I hope to see you at this celebration to honour Cheryl for her dedication to our school, staff, faculty and students.

Warmly,

Derek Stockley
Dean, School of Social and Community Services
