Her leadership within the institution has also included roles co-chairing the Strategic Enrollment Management Working Group on improving employment outcomes for students with disabilities and as an Executive Member of the College Committee on Disability Issues.

In addition to this professional background, Nora's commitments to the issues of social justice continue through her work in the community where she continues to hold board appointed roles and positions of advocacy for a variety of community agencies and associations.

Please join me in welcoming Nora to the School of Social and Community Services.

The Department of Mathematics would like to bid a very fond farewell to Diane Krasuski, as she has decided to retire at the end of this academic year.

Diane began teaching at Humber in 1976 on a contract basis and was then hired full-time as a professor in 1977. Diane has dedicated her life to her true passion and has greatly impacted student success at Humber. Over the years, Diane has touched many lives and has inspired learners through her dedicated and compassionate work affecting one learner at a time. Diane has also served as the math program coordinator for the Lakeshore Campus and has provided mentorship and guidance to new hires over the years. Many thousands of students have benefited from her exceptional dedication to student success and many faculty have been mentored under her guidance and leadership. We will always be grateful to Diane for her unwavering commitment to the students, faculty and staff at Humber.

On behalf of Humber community, I wish Diane the best in her retirement years.

Please join us Thursday, June 14, in A114 Lakeshore, from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. to say goodbye and wish her well in the next stage of her life.
