Our Humber business cards have changed to reflect a brighter identity through our WE ARE HUMBER brand.  Your current Humber logo business cards should continue to be used until none remain. All new business card orders, however, will be printed using the new look as shown below.

To improve service, an online ordering system has been created for you to submit your business card orders.  You can find online ordering at humber.ca/purchasing/forms.htm or humber.ca/brand/order/business-cards.

The on-campus print shop can help track your orders or answer questions regarding the printing details. Contact the North campus at ext. 4228 email humber.north@grenville.com or the Lakeshore Campus at ext. 3584 email humber.lakeshore@grenville.com.

If you have any questions regarding the business card process, please contact Jessica Powell at ext. 5172, jessica.powell@humber.ca

It is with great pleasure that I announce that Dr. Dawn Macaulay, has accepted the position of Acting Associate Dean in the Department of Liberal Studies, in the School of Liberal Arts & Sciences, replacing Jason Galea until July 3, 2015. Many of you will already know Dawn from her role as Coordinator in the Department of Liberal Studies, which she assumed in January 2011. In that capacity she has served on numerous College committees including College Council, Degree Council and Academic Appeals and most recently, has been facilitating with our transition to the Banner student system as a Banner PC Champion.

Dawn first joined Humber in 2008 as a faculty member, teaching a variety of psychology courses across all of Humber’s credential levels.  Prior to joining Humber, she enjoyed faculty positions at both Douglas College and the University of British Columbia, where she earned her Ph.D. in 1997 examining mood-dependent memory.

On behalf of the School of Liberal Arts & Sciences and the entire Humber community, let me extend my congratulations and say that we look forward to working with Dawn on many exciting initiatives over the coming year.

The Department of Public Safety is pleased to welcome Andre Hilton to the team as Security Co-ordinator. Andre is not new to Humber, in 2009 he was the Site Supervisor with our contract security service provider - Primary Response. In 2009 he moved to their head office and took up the challenge as Head of their Training Division, responsible for the development and delivery of training programs to over 1500 security guards company wide.

Andre will work closely with our many campus partners in the delivery of campus security and emergency services and provide oversight and direction to our uniformed security personnel and campus walk students as well as assist and lead a variety of investigations that come through our office. Andre is a committed and caring individual and I know that he will go out of his way to ensure the success of students that he comes into contact with. Andre will report directly to Nancy Deason, Manager of Public Safety - North Campus.

Please join me in welcoming Andre back to Humber!
