Approaching the “third age” of life can be a challenge but also provides immense opportunity. Acquiring a clearer understanding of our own journey ultimately provides an understanding and respect for the pathways of others. This understanding opens the lines of communication and doors of opportunity to engage, collaborate and grow – in every area of our lives.

This online workshop will help participants develop alternative retirement plans that fit both the organization and the people who make it work. Wherever your personal journey takes you, this workshop will help you chart those future waters.

Upon completion, learners will know how to:

  • Extend their "brand" through alternative retirement programs
  • Identify and target key employees for knowledge retention and transfer
  • Build knowledge banks and human capital
  • Enhance their personal, employee and customer experience

The workshop will be led by internationally recognized expert and Dean of Applied Research and Innovation, Dr. Ginger Grant.

Join us on Zoom on Thursday, March 24, 2022 from 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.

The cost of the workshop is $69 for Humber staff if you enter the promo-code: Humber-retirees at checkout.

Coming together to share our experiences and emotions related to climate change can strengthen feelings of connection and belonging that can help deal with eco-anxiety. Storytelling is an important part of imagining and co-creating a sustainable world for all.

In this workshop with Climate Illustrated, you’ll have the opportunity to practice storytelling and deep listening in a safe and supportive environment.

This will be an interactive workshop where participants will be presented with concrete examples and guidelines for how to write an engaging personal story and invited to share stories (in the form of memories, experiences, and emotions) related to climate change and sustainability.

After the workshop, you can write up your story and send it to mystory@climateillustrated.com to have your story illustrated.

Join this workshop on Tuesday, March 22, 2022, to:

  • Develop your storytelling skills
  • Practice deep listening and learn from the experience of others
  • Connect with others interested in climate change and sustainability

Register now for the Introduction to Values-Based Innovation workshop.

Value is a human quality to which we attribute importance that we express through what we think, say, and recognize in what others say and do. Values are about what’s important to us: they determine how we prioritize our expenditure of attention, time, energy, and resources. As a result, we give ourselves more fully to what we value and avoid what we do not.

This workshop will explore your values perspectives and the importance of values alignment in nurturing the culture of innovation within organizations.

We look forward to seeing you at the virtual table!
