Building Resilience Workshop

Register now for this one-day workshop facilitated by Kara Stelfox.

In this course, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Discover the sources of pressure in your life and the strengths you have to draw on through the Resiliency Map self-assessment
  • Become more mindful and aware of the choices you have under pressure
  • Learn to carry more energy throughout the week by reducing wasted energy
  • Appropriately focus on your priorities to establish a sense of control

Join Humber Arboretum beekeeper John Coffman for a workshop on native black walnut trees and the nuts they produce. Inspired by John’s own family tradition of harvesting and preparing black walnuts, you’ll learn how to identify these trees, what role they play in our local ecosystem, and how to harvest and prepare black walnuts.

When: Saturday, November 9, 2019 at 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. (one hour lunch break)
Where: Centre for Urban Ecology, Humber Arboretum (at the back of the North Campus) 
How: $35 plus HST ($39.55) + Eventbrite fee.

Facebook Ads Webinar

The Digital Business Student Association is pleased to host their first Webinar: Facebook Ads, delivered by Vik Joshi, Digital Marketing specialist and Social Media strategist. Vik graduated from the Digital Business Management BComm program in 2016 and started his own business. 

Webinar description: Facebook Ads are essential to Digital Marketing success and lead generation. In this webinar, we will learn how to design a Facebook Ad graphic, and explore the back-end targeting technicality that makes a Facebook Ad successful. We will also cover the dos and don’ts surrounding Facebook Ads.
