This half-day workshop is open to all faculty who want to brush up on their Blackboard skills. During the last 30 minutes of the workshop participants will be able to work on individual courses and ask questions.

During this workshop, participants will explore:

  • Updates to the Humber Template
  • Posting and organizing content in Blackboard
  • Using basic Blackboard communication tools (including announcements and discussions)
  • Posting assignments
  • Basic Grade Centre features

REQUIRED:

  • Participants must have access to a Blackboard course to participate actively in this workshop. This could be your live course, a DEV site, or a SANDBOX site. Both DEV and Sandbox sites can be requested using the appropriate e-forms at its.humber.ca. Please allow up to 24 hours for a request to be processed.
  • If your central login ID or Password does not work, you will need to go to IT with photo ID and get them to do a reset. North Campus: NX 210, Lakeshore Campus: A212.

The Lakeshore Grounds Interpretive Centre is pleased to announce a new photography exhibit that recognizes the history of the neighbourhood of Long Branch.

In celebration of Long Branch's 135th anniversary, the History and Culture Committee of the Long Branch Neighbourhood Association presents: The Cottage Years, a nostalgic photography exhibit with research by Bill Zufelt, also featuring the paintings of Pat Rice.
