Still looking for a gift idea? Humber Arboretum honey will be on sale inside the Centre for Urban Ecology on Thursday!

Drop by between 10:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. to buy a jar of honey harvested from the Arboretum's sustainable hives. 

Jars are 100 ml and cost $8 each; limited quantities available.

The Centre for Urban Ecology is the glass building with the red door at the top of the path on the grounds of the Humber Arboretum (at the back of North Campus). 

Join Connect faculty/staff mentors and international first-semester students for this holiday activity. Come and decorate gingerbread and shortbread cookies. No experience required. Make beautiful or messy treats and eat sweets together!

The Centre for Teaching & Learning and the International Centre coordinate this event.

Whether you’re looking for a unique, homemade gift idea or would like something special for yourself, come and learn how to make salves, creams, lip balms, and bath balms that take advantage of the healing properties of honey and beeswax.

This workshop may be taken individually or as an elective for the Sustainable Urban Beekeeping certificate available through Humber Arboretum and Humber College.

Fee: $45 (plus tax) plus additional materials fee of $30
When: Saturday, December 16th from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Come and sweat with friends, students and colleagues for Charity! Our much anticipated yearly event has been salvaged and ready to start registering teams to participate in the 8th Annual Humber United Way Spinathon! Great prizes, refreshments and exercise all for a great cause.

• Students minimum pledge per team is $250
• Faculty/Staff minimum pledge per team is $500
