Walking provides an opportunity for reflection and dialogue in a relaxed and informal setting. Getting outdoors can help to inspire ideas through communion with nature.  Walk and talks provide opportunity to get outside, meet with colleagues, and share ideas. Topics will be guided by your interests and ideas. CTL: Part Two - Creating an Engaging and Informative PowerPoint - "How to Create PPT effects on a Mac"

Never Alone: LGBTQ+ Activism and Collective Action Forum

The LGBTQ+ Resource Centre and the Lakeshore Grounds Interpretive Centre invite everyone to join us for an afternoon with LGBTQ+ leaders to learn about activism and stategies for community action. Pride Month is full of celebration, and that is wonderful, but we are also proud of the activist and political roots of the parade that began as a riot.

During the first half of the forum we will hear from our speakers about their approaches to activism, and in the second half, participants will have the opportunity to engage with our speakers in small groups to work collectively on some of the issues you are working on in your own communities.
