Student Learning Services will be hosting Last Call for Fall taking place from November 21 to 23, 2023 at Humber's IGS, North Campus and Lakeshore Campus respectively. This event is designed to provide students with academic support and some stress relief activities as they prepare for their end-of-semester and upcoming final examinations. The event is open to all Humber and University of Guelph-Humber students.  

Join us for light refreshments, academic support, stress relief activities, games, and prizes. Support services will be provided by Peer Assisted Learning Support (PALS), Math and Writing Centre, Humber Library, FYE, Wellness Education and Programs, Athletics and Recreation, Advising and Career Services, Public Safety, the Spirituality and Wellness Centre, Advancement and Alumni, CCR and Leadership Programs, etc.   

In addition to academic support, Last Call for Fall may feature fun activities that students can participate in! Button making, board games, keychain making, creating positive message boards, canvas pouch painting, and making gift tags are just some of these awesome activities!

If you have eligible periods to purchase, such as periods of employment before enrolling, breaks in employment, or if you earned a benefit from a previous employer’s pension plan, you may have an opportunity to make your CAAT Plan pension even more valuable by making a pension purchase. 

We have divided up the purchase sessions by plan design to give members of both DBprime and DBplus the most relevant information about making a purchase.

Mental Health Training for Students, Student Leaders, and Student Staff 

Student Wellness and Equitable Learning is offering training for learners on how to understand mental health and recognize when a peer needs support. 

The Well-being at Humber: Be There for Yourself and Others is an interactive 90-minute training with case studies and strategies and part of the college's efforts to raise awareness of learner mental health. Learners will receive CCR recognition for completing the training.
