In 2015, Humber College launched the first-ever Gender Diversity Policy within the postsecondary sector in Canada. This policy outlines Humber’s position on the responsibilities of the College, students and employees with respect to protecting gender expression and gender identity consistent with the Ontario Human Rights Code. Regular review of the policy ensures that we reflect changes to legislation and strengthens the Centre for Human Rights, Equity & Diversity's human rights early intervention and resolution processes.
