What's on at the Longo Centre for Entrepreneurship (LCfE)
Innovate & Create Entrepreneurship (ICE)
Learn business planning, marketing, finance and more Work with a mentor who can guide your journey. Every session is practical, hands-on, and focused on taking your idea to the next level. Have an idea you’re ready to work on? In 12 weeks, you will bring your idea down to earth and get ready to launch. ICE Applications, now open. Funding available for students completing the program as WIL or Co-op hours
Be Your Own Boss (BYOB)
Want to be your own boss? Join us IN PERSON for this 7-week workshop series on ideation, marketing, promotions, sales, finance, funding and operations. Certification of completion and CCR accreditation will be available to respective participants who attend a minimum of five out of the seven workshops per cohort. An optional BYOB pitch competition will follow on April 14.
Key To Entrepreneurship Modules
This 10-part module will strengthen your entrepreneurial skills! Learn and discover the fundamentals of entrepreneurship through our 10 easy to follow and well designed modules. These modules will introduce you to a variety of topics that can help you get started on your business idea or entrepreneurial venture. The modules include videos, a quiz and resources to enhance your learning experience.
BMO Launch Me Program & Competition
The BMO Launch Me Program is designed to help students and recent alumni prepare for success in the BMO Launch Me competition. Complete a series of skill building workshops to prepare your business idea for launch, and submit your work for a chance to win funds. The first round of the competition is a business plan submission. Chosen finalists will move on to the finals with a five-minute pitch to a panel of judges. CCR Certified!
