Please share this Opportunity with Humber Students
We're on the lookout for passionate, dedicated volunteers to make a real difference in the Humber community. Volunteering is a great way to give back, learn new skills, and connect with others who share your values.
Five Reasons Why It's a Great Opportunity:
- Students can improve their communication skills, build relationships, develop leadership skills and more.
- Co-Curricular Record (CCR) certified! Students can record their Humber involvement in the CCR portal and turn it into transferable skills for their resume and cover letter.
- Give back to first year students by supporting them with their transition to campus life.
- Make Friends and build connections within the Humber community.
- Win Prizes. Peer Mentors get exclusive access to the FYE Rewards Program.
Peer Mentor Expectations
- Peer Mentors are expected to mentor a group of first-year students throughout a mentoring period (approximately 10-15 weeks).
- Peer Mentors must be available for 3 - 5 hours per week, via email, MS Teams, or in person.
- Peer Mentors are required to maintain a cumulative average of at least 70 per cent in their academic work.
