Employee Appreciation

I would like to take this opportunity to express my sincere gratitude to every member of the Humber community.  Your hard work and dedication contributes to Humber’s continued success, the achievements of our students and attaining our vision, Leadership in Polytechnic Education.

To recognize your support and commitment to excellence, I am officially closing the College on Monday, June 30, 2014, for an “Employee Appreciation Day”.  The College will be closed on Tuesday, July 1, 2014, for Canada Day and will re-open on Wednesday, July 2, 2014.

As part of our commitment to ongoing engagement with the Humber community throughout implementation of our new five-year Strategic Plan, I was very pleased to host our first two Town Hall Meetings last Fall. We’ve discussed “Differentiation and Strengthening Our Polytechnic Identity”, as well as “Living Our Values as a Learning Organization” and have been able to engage in dialogue and share perspectives across the institution regarding these important components of Humber’s identity and strategic direction.

Ongoing Strategic Planning Engagement Opportunities

Welcome back! As we all take a deep breath and jump into the excitement of a new academic year, I’d like to thank everyone for an energizing and inspiring official launch of the 2013-2018 Strategic Plan at the President’s Breakfast. This year promises to be both exciting and interesting as we begin implementation of our new five-year plan and continue working towards our vision of “leadership in polytechnic education.”
