Is an Accelerated Appointment the Right Appointment for You?
Right for You if You:
- Previously attended post-secondary education and received academic accommodations.
- Prefer to complete a self-study component by watching instructional videos provided by ALS to learn about available supports and services.
- Would like to address a specific issue related to your accommodation needs, such as changes in your disability.
- Are a returning or reconnecting learner who needs to review or update your current accommodations.
- Need a short appointment to address one concern in regard to your accommodation needs.
May Not Be Right for You if You:
- Are new to post-secondary education and have not yet received academic accommodations.
- Prefer personalized, in-depth discussions about available services rather than completing a self-study component.
- Would like information on disability-related funding to support your academic journey.
- Are interested in referrals for assessments or assistive technology.
