Is a Standard Appointment the Right Appointment for You?
Right for You if You:
- Are new to post-secondary education.
- Would like an overview of the services and supports available to you as a student with a disability.
- Would like a personalized needs assessment to understand your academic challenges and the types of support you may require.
- Would like to discuss barriers you experience related to your disability that may impact your academic success.
- Would like a detailed explanation of appropriate academic accommodations such as a reduced course load, or alternate formats.
- Would like information on disability-related funding to support your academic journey.
- Are interested in referrals for assessments or assistive technology.
May Not Be Right for You if you:
- Do not need an in-depth overview of services and supports or a personalized needs assessment.
- Do not need referrals for assessments or assistive technology.
- Have already received all the necessary information about academic accommodations and disability-related funding.
- Are seeking to address a specific issue related to your accommodation needs.
