Choose Your Preferred Option

There are three options for registering with Accessible Learning Services: Transitional, Accelerated and Standard.

• This option is best suited for learners who would like to receive limited accommodations for one semester without an intake appointment.
• Complete self-study by accessing Self-Study/Independent Learning Resources to learn about available supports and services.
• Receive accommodation letter within 3 business days.

Note: An appointment with an Accessibility Consultant is required before the start of the following semester to develop a personalized accommodation letter.

• This option is best suited for learners who would have previously attended post-secondary and received academic accommodations.
• Short 30-minute appointment with an Accessibility Consultant to develop a personalized accommodation letter.
• Complete self-study by accessing Self-Study/Independent Learning Resources to learn about available supports and services prior to appointment.
• The wait time for an appointment is approximately 2 weeks.

• This option is best suited for learners who are new to post-secondary education.
• Comprehensive 50-minute appointment with an Accessibility Consultant to develop a personalized accommodation letter.
• Discussion with an Accessibility Consultant to learn about available supports and services.
• The wait time for an appointment is approximately 2 weeks.
