Where there is a person sitting and just taking the view in. This artworks felt significant to me since I have a passion for adventuring and the environment. The views of any natural wonder is something I always look forward too. Shiva represents both feminine and masculine sides, as well as light and dark forces. The colors and Shades in the painting highlight this harmony. Shiva's dance is like a cosmic rhythm, where creation and destruction unite gracefully. The colors reflect the mix of light and dark, while the shades show the balance between Shiva's feminine and masculine aspects. This painting is an invitation to think about how everything in the universe is connected. Shiva reminds us of the beauty in the balance of opposing things. It's a simple exploration of the idea that in life's dance, there's a deeper unity – the truth that Shiva represents. |

Colour Photography | Digital Photography | 8 x 8 x 8 | Original Piece | My image describe the parts of ourselves we create of who we are. Specifically, our emotions. These 4 parts are all different from one another. The top right, normal, is what we want people to see, the look and feel of being “normal†in order for people to see we are like them. The top left, negative black and white, represents the twisted and sinister thoughts we think about ourselves and each other. We tend to feel shame with this part of ourselves. For example, the thought and act of getting revenge when we get hurt by someone. Although, this is completely natural, the repercussion of regret comes, when our morals come along. But it arrives too late. The bottom left, black and white, represents our deep inner feelings of wanting others to see our true selves, but we know deep down, it is clear as day that we should not do it because one is a good though and the other is a bad one. Which is why it is polar opposite of each other, hence black and white. The bottom right, negative, describes the emotion anxiety and depression. This part is probably the worst disease anyone can have. We have no control over this and there is no permanent solution. Anyone can get this, for example, getting it easy from a simple heartbreak to a traumatic experience. Although all 4 parts have a negative influence to everyone, this is just a part of having a conscience, some things are a way to help us cope our emotions, like a defensive mechanism. And the other is just plain bad. We are all different in a way and because of it, there is no such thing as being “normalâ€. Just be who you are and be happy, even if everyone sees you being weird, because I know they are too. |

Digital Art | Digitally Generated Art | 1242x3532 | Original Piece | I am fond of the Moon. It always helps me remind that there is always something bright in the dark times! And it has always been my favourite since I was a kid! It's a sign of hope for me since then! And then everytime I see or click a good picture of moon, I want to make it as well! This one was a reference from a photo clicked by a photographer, & i just wanted to make it as a digital art for my art account, because I cannot use someone's work on my account & that's what motivated me to create it! | 2023 | Disha | Dharamshi | N01651321 | Marketing Management PGDM | Lakeshore | Word of Mouth, Email | 24-02-2024

The idea was to create a design that embodied the feeling of a fractured memory. Using the locker with a Polaroid image on it, the idea was to evoke memories of the past both represented by a locker from school and a Polaroid. Also, I chose to have multiple skulls within the polaroid to represent the high emotion of dissociation. Each skull represents a memory, yet the over-exposure effect within the period shows that the memories are fragmented and lack coherence and context, which is what a fragmented memory is. The dirty, grungy feel also shows that era I want to recreate, but it also shows that when looking back into memories they are often disported by imperfections of the reality of the events that actually happened. | 2023 | Lucas | Daniele | N01627833 | graphic design | North | 24-02-2024

Colour Photography | Digital Photography | 10.62 x 15.90 | Original Piece | I wanted to capture an image that evoked pride, beauty and cultural value represented through an appreciation for Canada's natural beauty and spirit. The flag blowing in the wind serves as an underlying symbol that regardless of our differences, the symbol of the flag is strong and brings people together through resilience represented by the wind blowing the flag. The background of the clear blue sky evokes purity and beauty in Canada's vast landscape. By showing natural pride, freedom and cultural unity, I wanted to display and capture Canada's identity to celebrate a diverse society through Canada's spirit and natural beauty. | 2023 | Lucas | Daniele | N01627833 | graphic design | North | 24-02-2024

Digital Art | Digitally Generated Art | 8.5 x 11 | Original Piece | Like a child in their mother's womb, we were all once ignorant of how the world can be. It was a blissful moment that is bound to be short-lived as we are born and exposed to the world. We grow up, get hurt, and move on; Sometimes at the expense of our mental health. My artwork is a personal reflection of how I wished that I could go back to that ignorance bliss. Not to take for granted the people who have protected me until I got older, and learn to accept that painful experiences are inevitable. | 2024 | Martina | Revalde | N01621557 | Advertising and Graphic Design | Lakeshore | Social Media, Posters | 24-02-2024

Other | Acrylic Paint, Other | 3 x 2 x 5 | Original Piece | In Asian folklore and mythology, an inanimate object can gain sentience by existing for long enough, for example Yaoguai from China or Tsukumogami from Japan. But how will the object feel after being abandoned for so long? Probably hatred. Wasting its existence in hate and suffering, forever in entropy as it cannot die nor can it live regularly. It will suffer until its body decay, down to one and zero. This work seeks to examine the relationship between us and the objects that were long gone from our mind. | 2024 | Khiem | Nguyen | N01661791 | Visual and Digital Art | Lakeshore | Faculty/Staff, Other | 24-02-2024
