Luckily I managed to secure a nice car plus the ideal parking spot in a crowded area, to create this image. I wanted to show how even with so many different cultures and religions, we Mauritians are united. I also wanted to show our language in this piece which is the Mauritian Creole as well as some features of Mauritius such as the sea, the flag, the sun and the nature. In creole, Hand in Hand translates to Lame dan Lame, I wanted to show how, yes, we speak English and French but we also have our unique language.
