In a world where social media and other platforms exert an immense influence on our lives, the pressure to conform to trending styles and opinions can be overwhelming. However, with Edison Cortes' exceptional Art Direction and Leroy Agholor's masterful photography skills, the unique tastes of each individual can be brought to the forefront. The focus on fashion and street photography in this project allows us to demonstrate how feeling confident in one's personal style can lead to greater confidence in other areas of life. Participants were encouraged to express their true selves without the aid of social media or mood boards, relying solely on their own creativity and interests. The spirals surrounding the person’s face represent development, rotation, extension, and progress. Being Human and growing as people isn’t a linear procedure, which is why the spirals appear deformed and don’t follow a continuous, straight path.
