Humber Child Development Centre: Child Care Spaces Available      Are you currently looking for convenient, high quality child care? The Humber Child Development Centre (HCDC) currently has openings in all of its rooms. Our newly renovated and expanded Centre provides spaces for up to 20 infants (birth to 18 months), 30 toddlers (18 months to 2 ½ years old), and 48 preschoolers (2 ½ years old to 4 years old). Families may also be placed on our waitlist free of charge.

Special Guest at the SSAW Luncheon!

As we celebrate Humber’s early years at the SSAW Appreciation Luncheon, we are going to have a Retro DJ cranking the tunes from the 60’s for you to enjoy.  Along with the keynote - improv troupe Slap Happy – this event is sure to get you energized! Sign up for the SSAW luncheon here – don’t forget to come dressed from "Back in the Day." Please register before 12:00 noon, Thursday, February 23.  

Developing The World's Youth Exhibition: Educational Resource Guide

An educational resource guide for this exhibition, which is featured at both L Space and North Space, has been developed and is available for download on the website.This resource covers key themes of the exhibition content and provides discussion points and activity suggestions. Any faculty who are interested in booking an in-class gallery session can email galleries@humber.ca for more information.   

Innovation of the Year Award 2017

Celebrate and recognize the great work that your colleagues are doing by nominating them for the Innovation of the Year Awards 2017. ELIGIBILITY: • The purpose of the Innovation of the Year Awards is to recognize College employees who have designed and implemented a significant innovation that positively impacts the learning of students in the College. • Employees from all employee groups (full and part-time faculty, administrators and support staff) are eligible for nomination. CRITERIA: The major criterion for nomination is that the innovation has: A Positive Impact On Students’ Learning.

Winners will advance to Skills Ontario mechatronics competition in May 2017. Winners of Skills Ontario will advance to Skills Canada in June 2017. World Skills International will be help in Abu Dhabi in 2017.

Notice of External Film Shoot – Lakeshore Campus February 8th and 9th, 2017 On behalf of Humber Conference Services, please be advised that there will be external filming activity taking place on February 8th and 9th, 2017 in various locations around Lakeshore Campus and Colonel Samuel Smith Park. February 8th
  • Filming in Colonel Samuel Smith Park will begin in the field directly south of H Building at approximately 7:30 a.m.
