Conflict Management and Resolution – Conflict is inevitable. It has been said that conflict – managed well, results in a better product, better communication and clearer understanding. Conflict between teachers and students can, however be stressful. Utilizing sound conflict management and resolution strategies can result in positive interactions between teachers and students and increase understanding for everyone.
Workshop runs from 2:30 p.m. - 3:20 p.m.
This practical workshop introduces students to the many challenges and solutions in managing our time well in today’s busy world. Student will learn to use and apply a variety of time management solutions and identify their own time wasters and bad habits.

Designing Tests and Quizzes – Writing test and quiz questions can be frustrating and time consuming. At times, it may seem impossible to test what is actually being taught! Come and learn strategies for writing good test and quiz questions including the use of different types of questions in a language appropriate for our ever increasing ESL population.

The relationship you have with your manager is probably the most important relationship you have at work.
Today‘s work environment requires you and your manager to have an interdependent relationship. In this interactive workshop you will explore how to create a ―partnership‖ with your manager by building trust, practicing the principles of accountability in your role, communicating with confidence even in the face of challenging situations and giving and receiving recognition. You will also look at strategies to help you stay focused and manage situations such as interruptions, changing priorities, multiple managers, lack of information, and the inaccessible and/or disorganized manager.
