One of the many challenges that faculty face is creating exciting, thoughtful, engaging assignments for their students.

During this workshop, faculty will be given some tips and tricks on how to create creative assignments using Blackboard. Under the coaching of one our leading instructional designers, faculty will learn how to use of some the useful tools within Blackboard that can be used to enhance their current assignments and/or create brand new, pedagogically sound, assignments. Come spend an hour in The Studio and learn how Blackboard can help you with the development and implementation of assignments.

Becoming a student in an online course is the best way to gain an understanding of the online learning environment. The Clinic for Online Teachers provides faculty members with the opportunity to become familiar with the student experience from pre to post registration. Then changing hats, the par ticipants will focus on developing the instructor skills required to use a Learning Management System (LMS) to effectively deliver an online course.

This online clinic, DEV.014 91, runs every Thursday from Thursday, March 22, 2012 to Thursday, May 3, 2012.
