4 x 4, a film of four original stories featuring the 2010 graduates of the Acting for Film and Television (AFTV) program, School of Creative & Performing Arts, is slated for an exclusive industry screening and reception.

The annual event give graduates of the Humber program the opportunity to showcase their talents, and paves the way for the film industry to discover some of the city۪s rising young actors.

All 24 graduating students acted in the film, while a number of industry professionals had a hand in ensuring the quality of the production.

Directed by John Bourgeois, professional actor and director of the AFTV program, 4 x 4 was written by Kent Staines (writer and co-producer of CTV۪s MVP), Paula Wing (playwright), Martin Lager (AFTV instructor and accomplished screenwriter) and Brendan Gall (star of the new CBC series Men with Brooms and playwright-in-residence at the Tarragon Theatre). Manfred Guthe  CSC (Road to Avonlea) was director of photography. Production management was by Ian McLaren.

The two-year AFTV program prepares its students for the realities of building careers in the creative and performing arts. While at Humber, students are taught by dedicated instructors who continue to excel in their craft. The faculty includes Sheila McCarthy, Maria Ricossa, Dixie Seatle, Michael Caruana, Allan Guttman, Christina Collins, Sonia Norris, Christine Brubaker and, of course, John Bourgeois.
