A group of students of the school of Hospitality Recreation and Tourism group is organizing an ���Ice Christmas� themed charity dinner event on November 27, 2010 at Humber College, North Campus.
All proceeds for this event will be forwarded to the Children�۪s Aid Society of Toronto.
There will be live entertainment and a DJ throughout the evening, a cash bar as well as a speaker on behalf of the Charity.
In addition to this, Humber is incorporating a toy/clothing drive for the event to support the Children�۪s Aid Society in order to help make a difference to less fortunate young children this holiday season.
Those interested in contributing to the cause, can visit Humber's Pancake/Cupcake Sale being held on Tuesday, November 9 in front of the Humber Room from 7:30 a.m. to 10 a.m.

Ronald Poulton, former legal advisor to UN Peacekeeping Operations and human rights investigator, will argue that the United Nations offers a neutral alternative to partisan and reckless superpower interventions in the name of peace and security. Although largely abandoned by Canada and other Western powers, and admittedly imperfect and sometimes grossly negligent, it is the only mechanism which can truly provide a troubled world with an avenue for peaceful reconciliation.
