It’s that time of year again!  At least once a semester faculty need to input their grades through MyHumber/Banner.  Faculty are required to enter/upload their mid-term and/or final grades.  The Managing Your Grades in Banner Workshop will cover how to enter one’s grades.  Join this workshop and find how easy it can be to submit and manipulate your grades using MyHumber/Banner.

Note: Faculty should have grades ready to enter before attending this workshop.  If grades aren't ready, please refer to the Tech Talk: GradeCentre Tips & Tricks workshop.

If you have a suggestion for a Tech Talk, please contact Mark at mark.ihnat@humber.ca

After a twenty-year absence, Odysseus returns to Ithaca only to find the war he thought was long over has now reached his homeland. His home is filled with a ragtag group of old friends and enemies, refugees from Troy, and various mythical creatures, huddled together under cover from heavy air raids. Inspired by Homer’s Odyssey and set against a Blitz-like bombing campaign, To Ithaca explores the space between action and inaction, violence and pity. It is created and directed by Tatiana Jennings, with choreography by Sharon Moore, and creative work by Humber College’s graduating Theatre Performance and Theatre Production students.

Building Bridges Across Communities: The 1960s and the birth of bilingual, multicultural Canada.

In addition to feminist, civil rights, anti-war, and gay liberation movements, the 1960s brought Canada official bilingualism, the invention of multiculturalism, and the removal of racially discriminatory policies in our immigration system. This workshop will allow participants to explore some of the changes that heralded the birth of the bilingual, multicultural Canada we know and celebrate today. Through interactive learning activities that include scenarios, games and fun trivia, participants will learn about and apply intercultural concepts and perspectives to Canada’s recognition of the benefits of linguistic and cultural diversity and its efforts to build intercultural bridges across communities.

Date: Thursday, February 23, 2017

Time: 10:00 am - 12:00 noon

Room: B208, North Campus
